What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good afternoon everyone from a wet L.A. where whoever else knows their fbg I don't and for that reason I am almost certainly a nicer, kinder, more relaxed little boy. I wouldn't go as far as to offer to share my toys but nicer and kinder are all relative. Compared to a once and shamefully still possibly future POTUS or Laura Loomer almost all mankind are incredibly nice and kind. @gennepher and @dunelm thank you for sharing your respective highly skilled artistic talents. @Krystyna23040 Poppy made a very wise choice as it is wet and breezy out there. We drove into BSE to drop off a car for a service, heated seats and heating were needed. @Annb hug for the cold - is it possible you could have something more? - and the hand. Personally, by Friday I will already have had enough of Autumn/Winter 24 weather. However, I can't give thanks to God for being safely brought to the beginning of this day every morning without living through them. Ideally I'd like (quite) a few more even if it means wearing bat excrement crazy clothes and failing to find much to love in warm LC food. How do you make any of it hot and /or a pleasure? - not spicy hot, that's easy. I'm not quite sure who might enjoy this weather but anyhow the thought is genuine, enjoy your Tuesday
Thanks @ianpspurs

Creative...Brusho pigments on photographic paper again... I like the effects of the water and pigment on the photographic paper, but it takes forever to dry... I have found my blank postcards, so I'll be able to paint on one of them tonight...I might put a bird or two on here later...

Have your best kind of day....

Smashing colours and looking forward to seeing some on blank postcards - will they be soon winging their way across the globe to your postcard exchange group?

This despite having had pasta last night.
Although I did carefully calculate the quantity, cook it lunchtime, cooled and froze. (Can be left in fridge overnight also.) Seems it did promote resistant starch, because i ate a larger portion than normal as well.
It helped that the packet displayed information on carbs in cooked pasta, not just the raw 100g as usual, which leaves me floundering.

Good morning everyone on a strangely dry start to the day with hints of blue here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.5 this a.m. The wood burner was on all day yesterday which resulted in me going out and counting all the logs, lumps of coal and sticks of kindling to make calculations on longevity of current stores. I’m afraid that Mrs Miggins, who took charge of said wood burner yesterday, is restricted to half a tin of supermarket “essentials” baked beans on some dry crusts that were going to be given to the birds for the next couple of days - and don’t forget to re-use the tea bags. I, of course do not eat baked beans so will not get the benefit of this largess. every penny spent twice here ‘oop north. Art bit, pigments again - I think they should be called tinctures but then they would demand a higher price and cause folk to think of Quinquireme of Nineveh and blame John Mansfield - what a thing to pop into my noggin first thing in the morning, and right before koffy? Hope your day is less confusing than mine. Best get some koffy to settle the remaining functioning brain cell.
Oh - watched second episode of Lundwig on IPlayer last night - seems all episodes are now avialable.

Great result and pleased for you that the percentage of carbs turning to resistant starch worked in your favour. I have some mashed potato in the fridge - which will be turned into colcannon later today - I will have that towards the end of dinner - after consuming protein on the understanding that the order of consuming food types helps.
