What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

7.2 and a bad night.
#7 & #8 are visiting so busy.

it has just stopped raining, and no wind at all. Forecast was wrong. Not good for the little ones on school hols, half term.

I have just received another CD from the DWP saying a letter to my name but no covering letter so I have no idea exactly where it has come from.
I had this a few years ago and I thought I finally got through to them. I was profoundly deaf and I cannot hear words on the CD. And would they please send conventional written letters in future?

All quiet for a few years until just now. Everything has been letters.
I have no means of playing this CD disc...
And if I did, I have no means of hearing it...

Grandkids have evacuated the home front.
The clean up crew has just started filling the bins.
The play time was awarded four stars cos of the sweet things on offer.
We lost one star cos of the weather being drizzly.
So not so bad.
The kid in me is now happy - ish.
Kitchen duties for Mrs L beckoning.
Ah well!

Creative... I am painting bits and pieces of things while I am tidying up and I keep finding odds and ends of paint...
This 'flower' is mixed media on a piece of tracing paper... so for the next few days, anything goes as regards Creative...

Yesterday I grumbled TicTok put some inappropriate music to the fox and badger chasing each other. So, I checked a box on TicTik which said no music...but it has now given me no sound. Can't win...try again tomorrow...
I don't think there is sound on instagram either.
TikTok offered me a 'bargain'. You give us £3 and we will promote your video, and we can guarantee you at least 600 views, I think it said. And then there is a sliding scale of more money more views.

All they have to do is just slide that number counter up to the appropriate number.
I am doing quite nicely without paying that, thank you TikTok.
My views, apart from one which was a 'miserly' 200+ views (but even that is a blooming substantial number), are between nearly 600 and nearly 1000 views for each video.

Fox eating berries
They are berries on my pink fuschia tree.
Foxy Loxy has been visiting since 2022 (when I first started running the trail cameras).
At the end of this video is a much smaller fox hiding under the garden chair. I have not seen this fox before. I have never seen a fox cub in my garden before.
I am guessing he must've come in with Foxy Loxy, and so maybe his son or maybe his brother.

Creative... I am tidying up at the moment and so any paint and paper or odds & ends of things, or odds and ends of paintings I've begun, I will be choosing one of those and finishing it off each day...or creating from scraps.
This is scrunched up layout paper, soaked with different colours, dried, glue down to a postcard, and then a tiny little bit of detail with a black Biro!

A splendid piece @gennepher. Lovely colours and I can see lots of texture. Someone will love receiving that postcard.
 
Good morning everyone on a dull start to pre-bin day here in the dark and dangerous north. A trip to Richmond yesterday - no, not that one, the nice one in North Yorkshire. There is a German Schnellimbis (fast food place) inside the old covered market so it was currywurst mit pommes frites for lunch. Mrs Miggins just had a bratwurst im brötchen and took the lions share of the frites. All very nostalgic. Mrs Miggins is taking her wheelchair bound sister out for lunch today together with their other two sisters - they do try and get her out every week. An eatery is about a ten minute wheelchair push away from her house and I suspect that they have been through the menu several times now. Art bit - two trees and some rocks. Hope your day is warmer than it is here. I must be desperately ill - I poured my koffy into my tea mug.
