Thank you very much @Krystyna23040I hope the achy joints settle down really quickly. Thank goodness that you didn't break anything.
My hairdresser friend fell over in our market town just before Christmas and broke her arm and shoulder in 4 places.
So you were lucky, and so was I when I had the dizzy spell and fell over and twisted my ankle after Covid.
I knew how lucky I was immediately....
I think it has triggered off my Arthritis in my joints a bit.
And I am needing extra sleep, so I'm just allowing myself to do it. I have been out fresh food shopping this morning and I was fine for that. And to pick up a couple of parcels, but that tired me out so I'm having a bit of a rest now.
Your poor hairdresser friend. A lot of people try to save themselves and end up causing themselves extra damage. I had two friends during Covid and lockdowns, and both fell on concrete. Both tried
to save themselves with their hands and in doing so both damaged their wrists and nerve endings so that their hands were now permanently swelled and they had thick sausage fingers and they could not use their hands anymore and had to accept outside help for showering and other things. These incidents hastened both of them towards a quicker demise than what would've happened and they're not here anymore. Both were elderly but both were very active people, one was in her 80s and she still rode a Vespa type scooter to get about, but the fall and the damage to her hands put paid to that.
