If we ask really nicely (and maybe throw in a bottle of whisky) I'm sure my neighbour will undress your turkey for you.
Today I cut up the last bits of the turkey leg finely and added it to a very quick and lazy tomato soup. (Tin of tomatoes, a little tomato paste, veggie stock cube, some oregano and cream cheese). Much better than yesterdays abomination, and magically one portion of turkey hasturned into two days worth of soup so tomorrow will be even lazier!

Yesterday I decided to have a go with veggies from the frozen section, not something I have experience with at all but it sounded nice and easy.
Creamy leeks. I like leeks, I like cream, I like cream with my leeks, the ingredients and carb count looked pretty good as well, so what could go wrong, right?
Turns out just about everything, yuck!

I have absolutely no idea how the creamy leek factory managed to make something this simple taste this horrible.
I tried to save things by adding the leek to a portion of leftover turkey instead of having them side by side. Bad decision. Good thing I misjudged amounts and it turned out to be a very small portion. I finished it and had a generous amount of nuts afterwards.

Very odd day today, quite stressful and frustrating too.
I woke up to a text message from someone tipping me on a vacancy for a job I think I really might enjoy.
First a very nice swim outside, followed by the first aqua jogging lesson after the holidays and groceries.
Feed the guinea pigs, brew coffee, sit down to do something with that vacancy, deadline for application is in two days.
I have very little experience in writing resumes and application letters, so it ended with 15 open tabs, a headache, the first two sentences of both my resume and my letter (neither of which I'm happy with so far so they'll have to be adjusted), and an unbelievable amount of procrastination, I had no idea that stupid match 3 games could hold my attention for hours!

In between I received and replied to two complicated emails by Steve (the one I had a second date with). He's the sweetest person and he feels he's not worthy, and at the same time I like him a lot and I'd love to see him more often but I miss that spark I think is needed to start a more serious relationship. Both things needed to be talked about, I definitely don't want to hurt him so writing was a delicate thing, I hope I did it right. This dating thing sure is complicated.
As for the resume etc, I told myself to at least write a little more before allowing myself my usual 5 pm beer but I gave up at 7 pm and called a friend.
She'll come by tomorrow at around noon to look at me sternly whenever I'm tempted to check the forum, Facebook, or play stupid games on the computer. She also has done much more applying to jobs than I have, so I can simply write the thing while grumbling to my friend, and then she can magically turn it into something that actually looks professional to the eye.
Any tips on applying for jobs in general or this job specifically are very welcome!
I suppose the internet will translate for you, so I'm including a link to the vacancy just in case someone has a brilliant idea on what should be in my letter.
