What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

libre 5.3 today. after saying 4.2 before got out of bed all in space of around 15 minutes - possibly compression low. cba with fingerprick. heavy rain started alreay here and wind picking up. amber weather warning. so glad went mainland a couple of days ago rather than waiting until today.. choppy waters and ferries don't mix well for me

Its strange, it came on from nowhere and he was not in pain, not covid as they checked, and even the hospital were baffled so a complete mystery still it brought home to us how very fortunate we were. We could have been stuck up in the lowlands for Scotland with nowhere to stay. Someone was looking down on us.

maybe choose another time 10-15 minutes after get out of bed. i've found libre reads lower whilst laying down in bed and can take a little while before it starts to correct itself (still reads a little lower taking delays into account). there are some people which libre can read a little higher just depends on the person i guess everyone is different :) hydration also appears important to more accurate readings. Any pressure anywhere 'near' the sensor can appear to cause lower readings. research 'libre compression low' happens with dexcom too.

Is it also a girl's name then? So far he/ she hasn't rained hard enough to make the roof leak, fingers crossed it won't as the rain's almost stopped now.

Its a variant of the french name Florence (which was my mums name).How sweet!
 
5.2 on Dexcom, 5.4 on metre. Daytime numbers were pretty good yesterday, my pancreas was doing a great job. Today I seem to be back to my normal high five’s and low 6…that’s ok, no spikes at all.
Sun is shining. They keep saying we’re getting Smokey skies but it has yet to happen. I’m happy about that. Off for a dog walk shortly. Did do walking and leg weights today at the gym, then some minor shopping. It’s BC day here today
