What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, I am writing this in bed, if I don’t it won’t get done.

My blood sugars were 7.7 a moment ago.

I better get up now and begin my full on day.

Good morning everyone on what just might be a sunny morning - or not, although it is deliciously quiet at present.
5.7 this a.m. on the selective correction on this mysterio buffo play.
There is a cafe cum boulangerie place in town - all sticky buns and fancy treats - we don’t venture in - one sniff of all that sweet stuff in one place is enough cause massive danger alerts on any passing blood sugar monitor. Anyhow, we spotted a notice in the window last week about the availability of real sourdough on Saturdays. So, an investigation this morning.
There is a new treatment available now for those who have trouble sleeping. Just head down to your local cinema and ask for Melania.
Hope your day is as wonderful as mine is (oh, be quiet knees). I best get that plunger pressed on the cafeteria and enjoy the magic.
 
5.8 this morning.

Tech challenges this week. I send out timetables for each monthly block via email. Suddenly all emails with a Sky or yahoo address are being returned undelivered.

It turns out that my email provider updated its servers and sky and yahoo won't accept their emails anymore.

I spoke to a really helpful technician who gave me a good work around while their engineers try to sort it.

5.4 this a.m. according to some made in China secret DNA collecting device. Please don’t clone me - one is more than enough!.
Whitby this morning - getting some use out of our bus passes until Rachel tries to tax them.
We are staying overnight and going in search of Dracula: dead and loving it!

7.9 at 04.30 today.

Fairly bright outside but not warm by any stretch of the imagination.

Quiet day - nothing planned but I see that Neil has brought in a lot of boxes out of the container. He has now disappeared into his bedroom, leaving the hallway completely jammed with all these boxes. Just hope we don't need to get out of the house in any emergency - I can't climb over boxes.
 
5.8 this morning
I thought I better check through my class email lists to make sure that sky and yahoo had sent me undelivered emails for all the class members they had declined to deliver my emails to.

There were 10 they hadn't, so to be on the safe side I sent them timetables via Gmail.

Although all this has been very time consuming, it does have a silver lining as I didn't realise that I could send an unknown recipients email to 50 class members every 10 minutes.

I have been sending them out just one class at a time ( which is 21 emails). So now will be able to send ot 3 or 4 classes on each email - which will really save time.
 
6.8 yesterday, 7.2 today, I will predict that it will be a bit higher tomorrow as a busy day and in the end might not bother at all.
I learned a long time ago, that wasting money on betting was just moronic!
As my brother once said I couldn't pick my nose!

Mrs L is much better and is having a nap.

The weather is very damp. What's new? And cold.

Went to footie yesterday, why do I bother? It got me out and see people that I know and have a scream at the officials and some players. So that is good, but the footie?

Blood sugars this morning were 8.9

What a couple of days it’s been.
Yesterday morning I was able to do some woodworking with my 9 year old grandson. Apart from the initial choice of reclaimed pallet wood he cut the wood into usable sizes, chose a piece, drew a smiley face on it marked where he wanted the screws, which will defined the face.
Hopefully attached is a picture of his smiley.

The picture is to large.

Now I must go

A simple way to reduce a pic size is to screenshot it.

Various ways to do it, depending on the device.

A few of the ways to do
3 fingertips dragged down screen
A combo of the side buttons power & up vol usually.
A set button to do it (have to look on home screen or settings )
Or just ask Google or Siri...if it's live.

Good to see that sense of humour is still strong .... :cool:

Early evening all.
I’ve been wondering why my during the day blood sugars were so high, high teens and it could be the aunty bi optics, four pills.
Only a couple of days worth left.

I run on very strong pain killers, Prednisolone and other medications, it seems the aunty bi optics are just two much.
Hey ho, if the boys in blue decide to lock me up for some drug fuelled misdemeanour :-) I will have an excuse.
I hope.
