What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

9.1 at 03.00 today. Only 11/2 hours sleep but I did doze for about another half hour in the chair. I should sleep longer but I'm glad I don't. That's why I don't take anything that would make me sleep longer. At least this way my body warns me when it's had enough of being in one position. Staying that way any longer would mean I'd be too stiff to move at all. Swings and roundabouts....

Morning all from a not at all spring like L.A. where my fbg was 4.6. Two sports results went the opposite way to what I wanted yesterday. Both turned on bad mistakes or poor choices by captains. Leadership matters and those whose role it is to chose leaders should do so thoughtfully and prayerfully. @Annb I hope you manage to get some sleep during the day. @alf_Josiah talking of leadership, I'm glad Mrs J's love and care guides your otherwise mischievous proclivities. #3 son, partner and 2 children here later :woot: then rugby to watch this evening. Enjoy Friday.

Afternoon everyone. My fbg was 4.9 at 6.30 this morning. The weather here is distinctly uninspiring but we are only in early March. - the month not the town in Cambs. @Annb sorry to read about the sleep I wished for you resulting in King Alfred like pastries. Have yourselves a spiffing Saturday if at all possible.

Happy International Women's Day whatever you identify yourself as. If your self identity is male, just celebrate the feminine side of your nature.

9.6 today at 04.00. Breakfast was about 05.45 but stomach is still burning - I think all that inflammation from weeks ago is still hanging around. My GP did, finally, get the result of my chest X-Ray 3 weeks ago. Receptionist tells me that the GP had looked at the report and said there was no change from the last X-Ray (which showed fluid on my lungs) but didn't say that any further action was needed. I'll have to try to get an appointment to see someone in the coming week.

Good happy Sunday Ladies and Gentlemen.

My blood sugars this morning were 8.5

I had my yearly stand in the warm rain cabinet this morning, I’m glad that’s done, well not quite yearly, I’m exaggerating a little, lot.

It was a late get up, for me, I didn’t switch my alarm on. Hehehe, who’s a naughty old man?

Stay safe all. Have the best day you can.

Morning all from another grey, cool not spring like day here in L.A. My fbg was 4.8 earlier and is now ( 11.34) 4.7. @Annb I gave the hug for a lack of real communication and help from your GP. @alf_Josiah a shower eh? Sums up all the sports teams - including Le XV de France - I wanted to win last week. I'm still thinking about waiting before fitting a new sensor tonight so possibly may not post tomorrow. Crackling for lunch :woot: perhaps some pork as well. I hope you find your own moments of Heaven in Ordinarie this Sunday.

5.1 this morning.
We have just got back from a lovely visit to Sheringham Park. We haven't been there for 5 months because of Mr K being unwell and then it rained every Sunday and then we couldn't visit anywhere until Bonnie had recovered after being spayed.

It is so lovely to be back to our Sunday visits to National Trust parkland - rain permitting of course.

I am carefully proof reading this post because yesterday I wrote that the company who looks after my website asked if I needed any help to get new clients and predictive text changed website to exhausted and made other strange changes, which meant my post made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those who won’t be betting a shilling each way at Cheltenham gee gee racing.

My blood sugar’s this morning were 8.7

Now here I sit wondering what to write. There are many anniversaries around this date, but only the horrifying seem to make the media. So I won’t mention those. Mrs J had reason to celebrate another rotation of our local fusion reactor last week, also a very intelligent lady called my me Hillary and Billery, along with Mrs J’s mother, who has sadly passed.
It was also around this time politicians started the process to ban handguns.

Now it is time for me to sign out, smile and discuss the day with Mrs J,
what that really means is receive my task list.

Happy birthday Mrs Alf.

Have to say how much I respect your patience ....

Morning all from a quiet L.A. where there is the appearance of spring but definitely not the weather to match. I did put the new sensor on and fbg was 4.6. - right arm, new sensor so perhaps the last 2 weeks weren't a fluke. We shall see. @alf_Josiah do pass on congratulations to Mrs A J from myself and JKP. @Krystyna23040 good to read that you have a nice long break for lunch. @Annb I hope the recycling does get put out. Our recycling is always much more full than the other two bins as there is so much packaging with online shopping. Have a good Monday Y'all and peace be with you.
