Intolerance, career politicians, reality TV and so-called celebrity culture, mobile phones in the quiet carriage.
Currently five cats, two girls who are Bengal/tabby crosses, and three boys. One of the boys we adopted after some nasty neighbours did a midnight flit and abandoned him, and another has moved in with us from another nice neighbour - they are fine with it, because they know where he is and still see him - he's just got an attitude. Between us we have eight, and I'm sure the cats treat it as one big home. They all get on and visit each other's houses.

Previously we've also had two rats (great pets) and a house rabbit who thought he was a cat and occasionally tried to mate with them (boy, girl, he wasn't fussy).

There are another four much-loved cats buried in the garden.

2 boy cats, Bunny and Polo. Bunny is about 11 (not sure because he was a rescued boy) he has no tail and when we first saw him looked like he was hopping, hence the name. Polo is just over 1 and he's very naughty. I would love a dog but that's impossible with the hours I work, the boys probably wouldn't like it either.

I have a cairn terrier called Hamish who I love to bits. He listens to all my problems and never judges me.

Hi carb Foods
I have a dog, Rodney. He's a pugXbeagle

And we got fish a few days ago. I'm terrified of killing them. The dog is far easier!
Morally speaking , I couldn't kill the dog, unless it was a "mercy killing"!
<Joke- I'm in a funny mood- SORRY>

I totally thought fish only loved a couple years!!

I'm about to attempt my first partial water change in my new tank tonight. The whole thing is far more complicated than I had anticipated!

I have 2 Cavalier King Charles spaniels, Leo, a Blenheim, who will be 6 this year, and Muffin, a black and tan, who will be 7 in 2 weeks time. I've had Cavaliers since 1980. Then there is Purdey, a springer spaniel gundog, who will be 5 this year. She is my husband's dog but he brings her over with him every day.

I used to keep Japanese koi carp in a building I nicknamed the 'Koi House', and various other fish in a different pond, and fancy goldfish in 2 tanks in the house. The 'Koi House' is now used for storage!

So long as you don't wash all the bacteria away you should be fine. Always leave part of the filter sponges unwashed.

Goldfish can live up to 40 years (very rare) mine seem to thrive on neglect. Chuck in a bit of flake every morning, change the water when it starts to look murky and alway say morning/hello to them!
