13.1
Once I'm in the low 5s I begin to feel it and it's not a good feeling. When I begin to overbalance I know I've gone lower. So even though I wasn't measuring I did make sure I had a little something when I didn't feel ok. This is my personal approach. I think there is no concrete rule of thumb. You are right ... We are all different.Different reactions to each other when it comes to the same quantity of food. Similarly, different people feel differently to each other with the same bg level.
If my body has been tricking me whilst not testing I'll soon know it at the end of the month. I just wanted a rest from testing and I didn't change my food, so I felt quite safe. During half term I did frequent the coffee shops and probably had 2 cappuccino s a day when it's usually 2 a week in total. I've drunk black coffee for 34 years but now cappucino is my treat and I have it instead of a pudding if I'm eating out.
Mission guitar collection complete!! I didn't deviate from my regime, no "train food " or even "coffee and cake" as recommended at a certain coffee shop......I took a small packet of scratchings and then purchased some cheddar cheese slices at a new Morrison's local at the station for late lunch at 2pm on the train home!Have a safe journey @kimbo1962 . Don't buy any food on the train!
I was 9.7 before my evening dinner.....being told i am pre diabetes, what numbers can i expect if i actually have diabetes......7.5 , is that high, been told Ive got impaired glucose tolerance. not diabetes.
