Hi Yes I was diagnosed 3 years ago as Type 2 and levels are not coming down so have ended up on Lantus once a day 10 units to start with, have been told to test every morning and twice a week before each meal and before bed to see what they are and to see if i need more insulin go back to see...

Well I have just had my first 10 units of Insulin(Lanctus) hopefully it is going to help

Have been to see Dr today - have to go to do a diabetics course (Juggle) then will start on Insulin at end of September

Thanks Claire think I might be leaning towards Insulin it is going to happen eventually so might as well go there now

Hi I am a Type 2 Diabetic since 2008 on 2000mg metformin, 360mg Gliclozide and was put onto 100mg Sitagliptin unfortunately the Sitagliptin went straight through me so Dr has now given me the choice of going onto Insulin or Byetta, help some advice would be greatly recieved.

I live in Nottingham have had Type 2 since 2008, I no longer can get Test Strips, as adorable says why cant there be a ruling all over and not just in certain areas, its all down to the usual Money Money Money.

I am type 2 since 2008 and have just had my repeat prescription back from the dr and guess what test strips have now been refused nottingham area, seems to be the trend now days

Dr has put me on Januvia today to try for 3 Months. Hba1c is 9(75)
