Have been to see Dr today - have to go to do a diabetics course (Juggle) then will start on Insulin at end of September

Hi I am a Type 2 Diabetic since 2008 on 2000mg metformin, 360mg Gliclozide and was put onto 100mg Sitagliptin unfortunately the Sitagliptin went straight through me so Dr has now given me the choice of going onto Insulin or Byetta, help some advice would be greatly recieved.

I live in Nottingham have had Type 2 since 2008, I no longer can get Test Strips, as adorable says why cant there be a ruling all over and not just in certain areas, its all down to the usual Money Money Money.

Thanks Have been looking into it abit more and it seems to be a very grey area, Type 1 are definately covered and Type 2 on diet only are not but Type 2 on Medication maybe and may not depends on the individual case.
