Stupid sensor reads 2.5 to 3.5 mmol lower than finger prick, so trying to learn not to test every time it reads below 3, as my hypo awareness is pretty good (although a little below 4 usually).
It's far out by enough for Abbott to replace it, but I already know they won't, as they only accept blood tests done with the reader. I don't have a reader, as readers cost 60 euro's. Last year they still accepted blood tests if you used a meter from their company, so I bought one to use with dodgy sensors. So there's that 25 euro's or so in the bin already.
Still debating calling them and starting a fight over it (consumers rights and stuff) or just letting it go and try to get used to numbers in red, as it won't be an easy fight to win.
In the mean time I have an interesting result on the app, being only 1% of the time in range while in real life there weren't any highs or lows. I estimate my average glucose of the last 24 hours as somewhere between 5.5 and 6.0 and the graph looks like this. So happy I don't have an appointment with my diabetes team in the next couple of weeks
