Never have I been so welcoming to a sticky six, with a 6.8 today.
@Estragon, good luck with the Orlistat meds. I hope the GP explained that its purpose is to flush fat from the body. Essentially to ensure you eat low fat diet,or face the consequences. I have heard it described as ‘policing to prevent cheating on diet’.

[COLOR=#000000]The GP did explain that it prevents Fat absorption. As a result of that, the fat reserves are hoped to be reduced. And as a result of that my natural formed Insulin would become better released into my blood stream. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=#000000]“Cheating”? Really? I’m trying my best here. I hate the LCHF diet I’ve subjected myself to for months/years. It is loathsome. I don’t need medication that in turn is attempting some type of [B]Behaviour Modification[/B] (“policing”) as well. This morning I was awake with severe lower intestine bowel cramping. It started at 4am and whilst it is becoming less acute, 2.5 hours later, it’s all pretty rubbish. The info states that this to be expected from the early usage. I do hope this is true, as I can’t be having these cramps during my much needed sleep cycles.[/COLOR][/USER][/USER]

5.6 this morning. @Estragon hope the cramps resolve soon I get similar cramps almost weekly some times several times a week I have found the only thing I can do is lie down with one knee raised until it subsides alternating raised knee every so often.

6.7 yesterday and 7.0 today....
Never thought I would ever say this but I'm grateful for the drop in heat over the past 2 days, normally I like warm days but not that horrendous heat we had early this week as played havoc with BG levels.

Funny how you become obsessed with BG values. Sort of take over your life. I remember with some fondness my pre-diabetic days.

FBG 8.8 this morning. Not good but not unexpected after going to bed at 9.8 and not taking a correction due to a few drinks.

Was nieces Debutante Ball. So calculations were tricky at best and less then ideal snacking due to meals taking forever. Still a great evening.
