What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.3 according to libre at the moment fingerprick very early hours due to glucose alarm saying 3.2 fingerprick at that time 5.2. fairly large difference Wee walk to Starbucks grabbed a latte just about to sit down and enjoy then work out which London Xmas markets and stuff doing today

Morning All back again. Have been trying to improve numbers with smaller portions and being mindful. Have had some FBGs in mid to high 6s, good for me anyway. Ow more 7s than 8s. But then a crisis with the last of my birth family which can’t be resolved. Stress equals 9s no matter what I eat.
@grantg hope you get the info you need re lumbar surgery and it helps you move forward. @DEBBIESCOTT sorry you are suffering with double antibiotics, get well soon. @ChrisT2 you seem to manage your hols well despite all the obstacles!

I only eat half slice of sougher bread daily.

"but drags its heels when asked to come back down" reminiscent of my my daughter 13 year old daughter and me, as a 13 year old come to think of it lol
 
7.1 at 7:45 am and up till early hours unable to sleep so not too bad considering. Work out done today so will be interesting to see what tomorrows readings will reveal.
 
6.8 today…arggggg….enough is enough! My goal today at the gym was to burn sugar. I did my weights first and then a 6.5 mile bike ride followed by a 45 min walk on the treadmill. Came home and tested… 4.9. Wow, that’s low for me, I don’t often see 4’s. Happy with the results for sure.
Nice day today and above zero so I’ll do some more walking after lunch.
