6.7 this morning a bit better than the last couple of days 7.7 and stayed roughly the same through both days, testing a couple of hours after food (still mainly low carbs)
Haven't had a hba1c for a couple of years but had the retinal scan a fortnight ago and came back no signs of diabetic retinopathy and they don't want to see me till 2028..

6.9 readings coming down slowly but we're very high all day yesterday averaging 8.4 despite fasting until late and only low carb dinner. Also bloods never fell down overnight until lowest 6mmol at 0600. Amazed at the damage just one day of abuse can do. Goodness knows how I survived this long with my previous lifestyle choices.

FBG 4.72 mmol/L around 4 am, after 4.27 at bedtime. My nephrologist says there’s no evidence I’m diabetic, though my records list pre-diabetes. I manage T2 with a very strict, consistent diet: eggs, salmon, some chicken, lots of walnuts, non-starchy vegetables, very little sourdough bread and dark chocolate, black coffee, and plenty of water. Breathing is fine for now. Best wishes all.

fitbit app (premium sub) & Health connect. i wear versa 4 watch. (bad idea bought as thought could display libre results on the watch... NOPE) got extra 50 min nap in the afternoon.

(edit half asleep typed phone instead of watch DOH)
I’m on garmin & can get readings sent to my watch

7.3 at just before eight and outside this strange blue in the sky....View attachment 74817
Nice pic, lovely to see blue sky even if it looks a really cold one. All we have seen in the past few days are mirky skies and lots of rain and fog. Feels like everything is squelchy. Thankful I am inside and warm, but feeling so sorry for the birds and animals that aren't.
