What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those whose early Morening tea is history and koffy is still on the horizon.

After a bad night my blood sugars were 6.1 and now are 6.6.

Today I have a lunch time meeting, but apart from that my day is clear, most unusual for a retired old flatulent man!

G'day everyone. The wonder wheel magically beamed a message to my phone with the numbers 4.7 at 4.45 this morning after I returned from Nanny and Granddad's secret little room: there's a shower and everything Daddy. The new doubledecker air fryer arrived yesterday so JKP made use thereof to feed seven. Another seven to feed this evening though four of those will be different and smaller and no takeaway for a poorly DIL will be needed. @Annb hug for the conflict between socialising and comfort breaks. @Krystyna23040 a wise decision not to go public with the internal conflict. 5.5 this morning.
We took Bonnie for her check up and all is well. She can now go for little 15 minute walks to gradually build up her strength.

What was so surprising was that she was so excited to go to the vets. I thought that after being spayed she would have been scared. Maybe it is something to do with the really delicious treats they gave her last week :) :)
 
7.5 at 03.30 today.

It will have to be a quiet day today - doing as little as possible. My legs are really playing up after going out yesterday evening - I was very tottery as well and almost fell over a couple of times. At least at that point I was given a strong arm (my friend's burly son) to hold me up to get to the car. Embarrassing, but I'm not proud any more.
 
Good morning everyone on an up, up and away morning here in the dark and dangerous north.
5.4 this am on the gom jabbar - probably going up now in protest for being disturbed.

Two weeks of half terms with fun, joy and laughter now coming to an end - exhausting but wonderful.

Off to Cumbria in a while to visit an old biker pal who is in palliative care at home. Two of us going - probably enough of a crowd for him.

Tomorrow I will be journeying to French Froggy France to visit my mother who has spent a couple of weeks playing at being an island due to flooding. Water now receding and she is now able to get out in at least one direction. Should I take snorkel and flippers just in case?

Afternoon all on a day where the weather reflects the sorry condition of at least one especially dark and depressing display of toxic masculinity. :arghh: My fbg was 4.7 at 5.21 as it is now - 13.23 - according to this sensor. @dunelm thank you for sharing the art and being such a thoughtful friend. Enjoy your time with your mother. Do find time for that which enlightens and nourishes the mind and soul as well as that which nourishes the body. Toodaloo chums.

So sorry to hear that @Lamont D. Somehow I had a feeling that you were building up to something and I was so worried when you disappeared from the forum. Good, though, that you are feeling able to get back in touch. Time to take it easy and let the medics take care of you and of Mrs L. Sending best wishes and prayers for both of you.
