Just had my knee operation ( due next Thursday) cancelled because my HBa1c test done in March was too high ( 86).......nurse specifically told the phlebotomist yesterday ( at pre-op) not to retest as it was too soon. I wish I'd insisted, as my bloods have been much better. I need it to be under 69 apparently. I could weep
