Bewildered - Metformin doesn't work on an individual dose-by-dose basis. It's effects build up over a few days/doses, and similarly, missing the odd dose has a minimal impact; good or bad. So, in reality, it will take a few days to see the impact of your reduction.
Let us which one it is I have problems with bread. Burgen soya and linseed small loaf is ok.After a blow out on bread yesterday a surprising 5.5 this morning.
Hopefully ive found a new bread I can tolerate.
Hi, so I started the lower dose on Sunday and I had my best fasting glucose result today, do you think I am still 'under the influence' of the higher dose? TIA

Is that the one near the church and little tesco on Eltham hillThis is from the Genesis range of the Five Continents bakery down the road in Eltham....?.
Made with olive oil, rapeseed oil and sea salt and plenty of nuts and seeds. Carb content is 39.5 per 100g so why ive stwyed low is beyond me.
Maybe its the butter I heaped on it.
Morning Everyone, 6.3 after mash potatoe and prawns for supper;-)
I guess this seems stable, I'll do the read after breakfast.
Just wanted to ask: is it possible that after years of undiagnosed high blood glucose -around 10...-, my body got so used to it, that values under 6.5 are felt like mild hypos?
Has anyone experienced the same?
Is this going to change over time?
Any input would be appreciated
