    Where am I going wrong?

I’m not sure. I’ve always had very muscly legs and I’m sure that the exercise is likely to be strengthening them but I’m not sure.

    Where am I going wrong?

Looking for some help/advice/encouragement. I’m a 33 year old T1 mother of 4 young boys. Not massively overweight but would love to lose 1-1.5 stone. New year I started exercising (which I wasn’t previously) and have been doing so 5-7 nights a week since. Combination of walking 3 miles in the...

Some advice/tips for a new starter?

Hi, I'm very keen to get into a proper lowcarb diet for diabetes control and also weight loss. However, I was wondering if someone could give me a sort of meal plan on what sort of things I should be eating?! I've been diabetic for 18 years (since age 6) and my lowest HbA1c to date has been...

    T1 Diabetes and Contraception

Thanks for your responses. I've had implanon and I'd bleed for 6 weeks, have 5 free days then bleed for a further 6 weeks so on and so forth! Had the coil and had horrific pain in my stomach and also heavy irregular prolonged bleeding. Can't have the coppor coil as I suffer from ridiculously...

    Not reacting to sugar......

Hiya, Thanks for your reply. Nothing was out of the ordinary last night, no alcohol. Just one of these things. The only thing I can think of is the last few days have been very stressful but I don't know if that's a contributory factor or not (?). Still feeling pretty whacked!! Could really...

    Not reacting to sugar......

Hi, My BM went down to 1.4 last night while I was sleeping and my other half woke and treated me but had a very difficult time getting my BM to rise. He gave me one of the big 1litre bottles of lucozade, a tube of GlucoGel, 1 chocolate biscuits and eventually had to resort to the Gucagen...

    Complications

Thank you all for your replies. I've had the tests done for the intolerance leading to coeliac but they all came back clear, bloods, samples etc etc. I'm not really sure what's causing it but there's definately something causing these IBS-like symptoms. :?

    Complications

Hi, I was at the doctor today and was told that I either have IBS or Autonomic Neuropathy. Just wondered if any of you had Autonomic Neuropathy? I'd never heard of it but having read up on it, it could well be that. The most interesting part of it for me was that it mentioned hypo...

    Good Shoes?

Thank you all for your help and suggestions! It's been a great help! I've been googling for this and all I was getting were quite old-fashioned shoes. I know your foot-health is a lot more important than what your shoes look like, but with having such big feet, they're quite hard to hide...

    Good Shoes?

Haha thank you both for your replies!!! I'm also 5' 9 so I don't tend to wear heels for the very same reason!! I usually live in flat pumps but I'm told pumps are a diabetics worst enemy!!! As far as trainers are concerned, are there certain brands/kinds which have moulded soles?? Marie xx
