    Nasty experience with pineapple and orange

    Yesterday morning my bg was 5.4. I later had a small piece of pineapple and an orange on empty stomach. I later did another test to know if these fruits would spike my sugar level, Incredibly my sugar level had risen to 13. This shows me that these fruits aren’t good for me. Am I alone?

    I love to drink coffee but I read on another forum that coffee spikes the bgs. Is this true. I take anti high blood pressure daily too.

    After my dinner, I still feel like drinking water before going to bed. Does this affect my sugar level in the morning. It is 01:06 am now, reading on this forum and I feel like drinking water.

    The above med was prescribed for me @25mg once daily alongside metformin 500mg twice daily. I am sorry to say I don’t know what glibenclamide is all about. Is it insulin? Here the docs keeps everything from one.

    Blood glucose machine.

    I’ll have to change my machine, for it seems my readings are quite different from others. I always use a calculator to divide the number from my mg/dl to mmol/dl. I abhor confusion
