So I was Diagnosed T2 In Nov 20 With my HB1AC Being 42 June/Oct, then two Tests at 54 in November.
I started a LCHF diet plan...
So results are in as of this morning and my first check up since diagnosis.
Bloods were taken at my 9 week post diagnosis, but appointment time meant its 11 weeks before review.
Good News!!!! 54 down to 38 in 10 weeks!
Given this incorporated my first 3 weeks of higher Fasting which have...
4 sausage, 3 bacon, scrambled eggs, halloumi, 1 hash brown, 1 slice of bread, 1/4 can of beans, 1 tomato.
Pre Meal 5.0 ----- 1 Hour 6.4 ------ 2 Hour 5.4 ----- 3 hour 4.7.
Happy with this, my monthly fry up can return for now anyway haha!!!
So the guidelines from my doc have been test two hours post and use that to conform to baseline and food tolerance.
From reading on here that should not be the advice to follow, and one hour and two hour should be used.
So for a reading of 8.9/ 160 at the one hour that drops to 6.1 / 110 after...
