‘Stop Eating After 7pm’ Challenge

I was well after tonight. Was out with "the girls" and we met at 7. Probably ate between 7:45 and 8:30. And I drank wine. Stuck to low carb, mostly.
Not beating myself up over it. Early meals and longer fasts most days mean I don't have to worry over the odd deviation.

Only just seen this thread so I am rather late to the party. As others have said, the issue I have tends to be eating through habit / boredom. I am seldom particularly hungry in the evenings and in fact sometimes eat when I know I am actually completely full and then feel too full and guilty! I try to run the cupboards down so there isn't much to graze on but then end up raiding my daughters treats which are far worse for me. It seems to be a no win for me...
I often don't eat my dinner until circa 7pm so 7.30 may be a cut off time for me. I have done the 8 Week Blood Sugar Diet before so I know I can do this if I really try.
Will keep an eye on this thread for motivation...!

Who will join me?

I intend to do this for the rest of January- 10 days and hopefully I’ll have broken the habit by then and carry on.

I‘m not hungry, I suspect I’m bored and it’s becoming a habit. So I thought if there were a few of us that struggle with this it would be good to record our successes and make suggestions on how we coped.

@LivingLightly?
i have always had a supper around 9pm not much maybe 2 slices toaast or similar. Have done that for about 60 years. you are right it becomes a habit. so maybe i will give it a try.

Being retired we have made it a habit to have our last meal at 3 pm breakfast's at 8 am
hight fat low carb not hungry for 15-16 hours

We too are retired and eat breakfast and then lunch about 2pm. Husband has a snack later, but I as a type 1 only eat if a little low. So I last about 15 hours. I am not low carb but watch the carb intake. I am not hungry and on 3 days a week swim 70 lengths before my breakfast.

It was tough last night as I was home a tad later than usual and I ate my dinner at 6.30, but I did manage not to snack after 7 and I was in bed by 10. My tummy feels better for the longer rest.
