I think you misheard.I recently went to my diabetes doctor at the OCDEM (Oxford Centre of Diabetes) to be told I should be eating roughly 300g of carbs per meal and inject 15 mins before each meal. I then spoke to the nurses and doctors I work with at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and they disagreed saying it's more a priority to eat healthily and restrict carbs by eating high fibre foods low carb vegetables lean protein and healthy fats. Any thoughts ?
I know BHS stands for British horse society so can't imagine you have been likened to a horse so what else does BHS stand for?No apparently it's new BHS guidelines to help with cognitive health
