2015/16 Football Season

I'm rooting for the foxes too
I have no choice, really. We're a family of Saints supporters, but Mrs hay-char spent much of her childhood in the West Midlands and Leicester are her second favourites. I suspect it also has something to do with her wanting to see Gary Lineker in his Y-fronts in the first MOTD of the 2016/17 season :).

Also, I have nothing (much :)) against West Ham but they're only one point ahead of us, now, albeit with 2 (yikes ) games in hand ......

Lively West Ham/Leicester game. It ended 2-2, with Leicester equalising with effectively the last kick of the game. Jamie Vardy was red-carded and won't be able to play in the next match and the referee had to be escorted off at the end by security guards.

Otherwise pretty mundane :D

Leicester now have a lead of 8 points, which will take some catching up with....

Hereford win again, 10 points clear now, under 18s won their cup final, Hereford need just 4 more points to secure the title, then there is a little matter of 2 cup finals to win and it will be a great season all round. 4 players have scored more than 20 goals each and goals scored in the league is well in the 120s. They deserve to win everything this season after the way they were wound up and (to put it politely) the take over by someone who thought he would ruin them and then knock the ground down and build houses there, he didn't reckon with Hereford council and the power of Hereford fans, and no I don't live near Hereford but just love them so much along with Man U, and again no I don't live near them but went to watch them play for the first time nearly 50 years ago. While we are on I also love Gap Connahs Quay who are in the Welsh Premier League and have such a great youth policy that premier league clubs snapped 6 up over the last couple of seasons. And finally (sorry) Athletico Madrid, what more can I say absolutely fabulous the other night against Barcelona. By the way I live no where near any of my teams, I actually live in between Derby County and Burton Albion but I could never bring myself to support either of those teams, it makes me shudder just thinking about that.
Oh well, each to their own.
Good luck everyone of you who have your teams in your thoughts, season nearly over, looking forward to summer football.

Why did the referee have to be escorted off ?

I was just about to say good luck but ooops you are 0-1 down at half time :(
We are 1-1 at Rotherham means we are deffo safe now

Oh well we finished up drawing. Better than nothing i suppose and it doesnt really matter now.
Charlton and MK Dons join Bolton in league 1.

Bad luck to all those who lost :(

Newcastle earned a draw to keep their survival chances alive. Getting rather interesting now. Who's joining Villa i wonder looking like its not going to be decided till the end. Nail biting thriller as to who we going to be playing next season.

After last night's results, we have to win both remaining games and rely on other results to claim the last place in the playoffs.

The fat lady hasn't sung yet!

After last nights results we have blown a play off place goodbye

A dire match to be honest
2nd half we reverted to hoofball grrr

I see that Eastleigh are playing Tranmere this weekend.

Beastleigh are local to me but I'm not a great fan, so..... come on Tranmere!
