2021/22 season

Ouch that's not good. We drew and seeing as all the results went against us we slip down to 11th place. I just hope this isn't the turning point. Deffo need a win next week we are Home to Coventry. They are 6th in the table.
 
We got smashed at the Os, and out of the FA cup!

Absolutely rubbish!
 
And we travel to Turf moor to face Burnley in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. I reckon we'll get knocked out there.
 
At least your still in the third round mate.
Away to Coldham, tomorrow, if we can't beat them!

Typically, a storm is due in and snow, so no change there, the number of times that going there means big coats, water proofs, a couple of pints, and your warmest thermal underwear!
(Nearly as bad going to The Shay or John Smith's!) Boxing day in your away stand mate, chuffin freezing mate!

Home to Coventry kick off 12:30pm. Not sure if its to be on telly or not. We don't have sky telly any more.

Away at Exeter, not expecting a good result. The grecians are flying.

We drew. We were winning till the 93rd minute. By all accounts Coventry were unlucky on a few occasions. Still its a worthwhile point given that they were and still are above us on points. All eyes on the rest of this afternoon's fixtures now and hopefully the results won't go against us. Next game a trip to the west country to face Bristol City next Saturday. The last one before Christmas and the half way point. We are in 9th place ATM.
 
We are now in eighth place now thanks to a good effort, winning at Exeter.
Home to Orient next, they gave us a battering in the cup.

Christmas games, many, many games.

Can't believe the coldham v FGR result. 5-5 and FGR at HT were 4-1 up! Wow!
 
All the other results did go against us and we are now down to 10th.:(5 points outside the play off zone and worryingly 11 points above the relegation zone.:eek: We need a change of tactics in the New year.
 
Hoping if the Boxing Day fixture Norwich v Arsenal is postponed that we will have enough notice.
 
Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Our lads are in action home to Blackpool and as it stands we are 1-2 down. Not good at all :(
 
Flabbergasted we won 3-2. That's powered us in to 6th place but alas the teams below us all have 2 games in hand and QPR have 3 games in hand. We have a trip to Notts Florist on Thursday. Getting interesting now with the damned Covid postponing games.

We won 2-0 and we're third and I went to watch, I think I have put it on last season's thread (again doh!)
 
Well it was a long trip to Norwich but worth it to see Arsenal win 5-0 :)

What does 5-0 mean @zand?

Maybe in time, I will do the six hour cross country trip to Norfolk, some day. Is that pub still there by the away end nearby where the coaches park?
The dressing room there is really good.

Away to hartlepool Wednesday night, to consolidate our promotion push!
 
Our game v harlepool is off tonight cos a couple of players sneezed.

Onwards to new years day.
 
Our game with Notts Florist is still on so hopefully we can batter them and bring 3 points back up the M1. 0-4 would put us in 5th place. 0-3 would put us in joint 5th with Middlesbrough. Its a pain all these matches being called off cos it means them below us have games in hand. Not an ideal situation to be in like but alas it cannot be helped.
 
There it is we won 0-1. That will do nicely. Trip to Blackburn on Sunday. That will be tough as they are firing on all 4 cylinders at the moment. Have a nice new year everyone and stay safe.
