2021/22 season

Another boring 1-0 win,
Boringly still in second place.
Numbing clean sheet again.
FGR next up!

Thought soccer was exciting?
Yawn!
 
1-2 away at Killie after extra time in cup. Two goals is a fest for us.
Away to PThistle in the next round.
 
Flipping marvellous we allowed Stoke to equalise last night. We are hanging on to 6th place by a thread. Home to Derby on Weds Night. Could do with 3 points from that. FA Cup Next Saturday. Barnsley at home. Ought to win that one and be in the last 16.

Good luck to all the teams playing today. Hope they win.

This is how big teams keep all their opponents down, by getting goals, decisions and all the luck!

Boro won and jump above us on GD. We are in 7th place now. I think we are staying in the Championship for another season and have a crack at promotion next season. It would be nice to finish in the top 10 all the same and hopefully we will. 17 games to go.

We were going to go up to watch that, but since hubby and I have only seen FGR lose or draw this season, we decided we would stay home so they could have a chance of winning. Well worth staying home for lol:)

I think you might have just missed out on something well worth the drive up!
you have been all over Europe watching the gooners, and you can't even be bothered to watch a very good team trounce their nearest challengers! Your misfortune!

Honestly FGR have been awful when we have watched them this season! We once had a friend who came with us to watch Arsenal sometimes. In the unbeaten season he only ever saw draws! Didn't want to risk it with FGR yesterday, it's obviously hubby and me who are the jinxes for FGR this season. We'll be back next season :)

How can you come to that conclusion when FGR are ten points clear on top?
Unless they implode in the run in, they are destined to be champions!

Or maybe I enjoyed practising kicking a ball for walking football and doing a 4.5 mile walk more than I would've enjoyed sitting in a car for 6 hours.

although I would like to do both, going to games, was a big part of my life regardless of the distsnce!

Swindle at home tonight! (I don't mean Sunak!)
Got to bounce back after Saturday's debacle!
 
For some reason, we were at home to Stevenage not swindle!

We were back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory.
Hard earned but deserved!

Onwards and upwards.

That's a nice 3 points in the bag against a 10 man Derby side. We made hard work of it but what the heck a win is a win. in 5th place now. And the stragglers are catching up games wise. 3 ahead of Boro who have 2 games ahead and 5 ahead of Florist who have 1 game in hand. Take a rest from the League now as we face Barnsley on Saturday in the cup. We ought to rout them buggers. UTT.
 
Another weekend of football looms. Home to Barnsley in the FA cup for our lads. Ought to massacre them but you know how cup games can produce surprises.
