Well no luck this week.
This is why I blame the insulin. I should be losing weight. I think the drs are right when they say you won't lose weigh on insulin.
Well we shall see in march when 6 months have passed if I lost any.
I will try to keep weighing every fri.

Pretty sad .
I've just figured out that I need to train myself to somehow enjoy being hungry!
I obviously require insulin. I just haven't found my dose yet. But it intensifies my normal 24 /7 hunger.
So if I have to live with it I have to train myself to enjoy it.
Not sure how yet.
Eating doesn't stop it. And I don't appear to have prader wii. I haven't been tested but I don't have any symptoms except the non solvable hunger.
Eating more fat more protein more food doesn't help.
And it's embarrassing cause others can hear my hunger growls. So embarrassing.

Don't. Either your metabolism will adjust to starvation mode, or you will cheat with food when ravenously hungry.
The crucial aspect to remember with weight loss is that it is a marathon, not a sprint. You did not gain the weight overnight, so don't expect to lose it overnight either. Have realistic goals.

A second reason to eat less is that then there's less glucose for the liver to kick out. Since insulin and pills and a low/no carb diet don't work or aren't an option.

I'm already ravenous no matter how much I eat. I used to be a binger and it didn't touch my hunger.

Are you always actually hungry when you think you are? The reason I pose the question is because a lot of people mistake thirst or boredom or other emotions for hunger. A very simple and free thing to try is simply drinking more water. It’s not going to solve all the issues you face but it may just help some of it a little as just about every process in the body requires a decent hydration level.

Though I’m sure currently on one tin of soup a day you would legitimately be hungry as would most anyone, 500 calories ongoing is too low for anyone and will cause other issues in the long term regardless of what happens with weight

I'm finding it difficult on a daily 3 dollar food budget.
Here are some examples.
2 cup size soup cans 2.99 on a sale. 1 cup can sizes .99 last I looked.
Chicken breast's between 4 and 5 dollars each. A 30 calorie broccoli crown 1 to 2 dollars on a sale normally 3 dollars. Eggs almost 4 dollars a dozen. Cottage cheese 5 dollars at the cheapest store. Ricotta cheese 7 and change maybe 5 on a sale.
Potato chips 1.49 for a 200 gram size bag. Frozen berries 5 dollars a less than 1 pound bag. Fresh berries rarely available at their 5 dollar for half a pound prices.
Tuna cans nearly 3 dollars a can.
Pretty hard.

I will try your water idea.

So I've been tracking my foods and seemed to have noted that low and 0 carb foods bother my digestion the most. Like eggs and most meats are awful on me and most low carb vegetables. A few that aren't get me too. I'm not sure if fruit does as I rarely eat it. And I rarely eat pasta and breads. As in things like sandwiches or lasagna.
But foods like the high sugar pumpkin thing I had and potato chips and soups and chili and pasta cans rarely get me.
This is so annoying and unfair. Because those foods that bother me are better for diabetes.
O well.

I just can't manage all 3 conditions. Digestive, diabetes and no teeth.
Most of my choices have been to choose bad for diabetes foods.
And I've asked for medical help with this but the diabetes team hasn't enough time for what I need. Nor other team members so I just do what I can.
But I'd like to ask other diabetics what would they choose? Diabetes friendly foods or digestive friendly foods? When they conflict with one another?
Meaning the diabetes foods are bad for the digestion for me and vice versa.
O and having any food choices gum friendly. (Soft, liquidy, pureed).
What would you choose?

What is bolognaise, please?
minced (ground) beef fried and then simmered in a tomato based sauce. Some add veg like onions, carrots, mushrooms, peppers (capsicums) along with Italian herbs. Typically served over pasta but I have it as it is or over green veg of some kind. Grated cheese (Parmesan being a traditional choice) is added on serving and adds healthy fats.

Gut microbiome becomes accustomed to what you usually eat and it can take a while to switch. Now I’m not saying that’s the case but it might be having an effect. So in your shoes I’d be trying to gradually swap out the carby things a little at a time for the more diabetes choices and paying attention to which upset the digestion least and using those first. There is no magic answer here. You just need to do the best you can.

Currently, I understand, you are eating very little. Maybe just a can of soup a day?
That's equivalent to a fast, and fasting is quite often used to reset or rest gut or metabolic problems.
I think its far too early for you to work out does (or used to) agree or disagree with you.
Only when you finish fasting and resume eating will you discover if there's been any major shift or whether it's just a temporary effect from the severe food restriction.

I'd echo others that you really need to do this under medical supervision

This amount of food is the amount I only have. There is no end. The drs are not going to hand me any money. More food won't fall from the sky. This is poverty .
I'm just one of the unlucky ones.
