I am at the Hospital on Tuesday and will mention it to the DSN see what she says and will post again hereStill getting them not much, though, don't know what to do about them though.
I put mine in the cartridge chamber before I put the adaptor on. I have now left 5 cartridges at room temp as I know I would use 5 within the month I change it every 3 daysI had a similar thing a while ago. I spoke to the manufacturer about it and they said its to do with the order you set the pump up. You need to put the vial in the slot first and then put the adaptor on it. I was putting the vial on the adaptor and putting that in the slot. Don't know why it makes a difference but since I've switched to doing it their way it seems to work better.
I also notice that I get air bubbles if I use a vial directly from the fridge and don't let it warm up a bit. I usually just shove it in my pocket for 5 mins or so before using it.
Hope you get sorted!
The whole point of the insight and the prefilled cartridges was so they could limit air bubbles thankfully mine have stopped and only seemed to happen in the summer when the heat was at peakI am not a pumper yet (soon maybe)
If the insulin is out of the fridge for a day or so it will adjust to room temp. But probably the insulin in the pump will be warmer due to it being next to your body heat and motor in pump
Mine have stopped since leaving my cartridges out longernew cannuls arrived and still the same problems and now becoming a nightmare
Will phone them again tomorrow (but I won't hold my breath)
