Concerned that his wife only has to inject for her type 1 diabetes - twice a month..
Yeah I did think that may have been an error...otherwise a miracle cure?

Anything less than 2 injections a day and I doubt she survive for long - I think we are all waiting for a miracle cure..

Not a cure for Type 1, but is does seem that some Type 1's can low carb or similar
. I did note that a Type 1 gent removed his insulin using RAW
.

I managed to get through last Christmas without issue and without needing insulin thanks to LCHF.
Could be honeymoon, could be more. I'm happy now with LCHF for 20 months, and only needing insulin when having a high carb meal - which I tend to avoid; why upset the applecart?
Interestingly, I did consume more carbs over Christmas albeit in small amounts spread over the day. The result; no elevated BGs but I've put a stone on! Have now trebled the length of my evening walk (the dogs are thrilled) to get rid of the extra weight. I was expecting to find this difficult, but LCHF gives me so much more energy - it's win-win so far this year.
. Now 26 months since diagnosis.
