Hi @flower2024 , from your other thread I take it you use a glucose meter. Are apples ok for T2 diabetics to eat? I love apples, I eat up to two each day and thought they were healthy but I’ve been told they’re too high in carbs.
It all depends on context. No food (in my opinion) is "healthy" in itself. That's just marketing. Are apples ok for T2 diabetics to eat? I love apples, I eat up to two each day and thought they were healthy but I’ve been told they’re too high in carbs.
It may be you can tolerate apples, we are all different, I can manage a half a green apple as long as it’s with a meal with some fat such as in a slaw or with cheese etc. if I get an unexpected result, either higher or lower than in expect I test test at 3 hours alsoWell this is weird. My blood test reading was lower two hours after eating a whole cox’s apple. I’ll have another go tomorrow to check what’s going on.
Thanks again for your apple and fruit eating suggestions.
