started but not read it all.

But i suppose that does make sense,
Most talk of the brain fog of T2...noticed because we tend to get it in one largish hit.., so can see the change
sure many, non diabetics, just suffer it incrementally, and assume it's just part of getting older.

If the mental clarity from Low carb/keto enables so many diabetics to think ans see more clearly
i suppose for those who perhaps are a little more muddied in other ways in their view of the world
(apologies for wording, no offence meant ),
then THAT clarity might also benefit them if diets was changed...?

surprising, (mmhh) why no one has tried to put all the pieces together of how food REALLY impacts on us WAY beyond the usual conception that it impacts weight or powers us to energy.

are we really so bereft of original thinkers or are so many influenced by Big Business, that getting anywhere is a long slow and arduous task.
yes i know the answer, but it's still sad, isn't it.

Interesting article - My neighbours’ son who is in his late 20s decided he would go vegan but found after a while that it was beginning to affect his mood and became quite depressed to the extent that he gave up working, going out etc. He did some research and switched to Keto inc meat and dairy which has improved his mental health - he’s gone from extreme to the other but it does seem to be working.
 
I had a lot of mental issues before diagnosis and going Keto.
I have large gaps in my memory pre-diagnosis. There is an awful lot missing.

Keto has improved my life, my health, my memory and more than anything, my mental state.

Yes, B12 and healthy fat deficiency - it makes a lot of sense, and boosting both those nutrients at the very least relieving mental ill-health and depression symptoms.
