So our Clive must have the knowledge then.

I've not been to the smoke for a long time.
When your all made better Clive, I think you should give your fans a tour of of the city.

Remember Clive it's just a case of. PMA and I'm sure you've got a bucket load of the stuff.
Scottie, pma Positive Mental Attitude

Time I went up the old apples and pears to Bedfordshire. As my old mum used to tell us.

Clive,
I grew up south east of the smoke. Junction 13 of the M25. Although there was no m25 when I was a kid.
It was all corn fields.
Keep paddling mate.:)

Bg at fasting 18.3, before food 17.9, 2 hours post food 17.4. Not a great day, not sure what I'm doing wrong to be honest. Sticking to no sugar and low carbing. On a postive note, weighed myself today and have lost 10lbs since I weighed myself earlier this week. But you can't see it? Maybe it's because I have so much to lose.

Well done you on the weight loss!! Im over the moon for you!! Even if you can't see it I bet you can feel it. That's an amazing loss. We will keep chipping away at the bg levels and will get there in the end :)

you need to see a decent dr and may get some meds...you can't go on with those numbers
ask dr..you can adjust your meds as and when the diet helps

r they sure your type 2 and not type 1 scottie?,,,,,your sugars are hi for sumone on lo carb,,,,u need 2 see another doctor like jack said

Fantastic weight loss Scottie, well done. I bet you're feeling really proud of yourself and quite rightly so.
Those numbers are still very high though aren't they, have you managed to pin down a GP yet? It looks like you might be needing some medical assistance doesn't it.

Have you got elasicated waists on clothes? Tip: only buy clothes with non elasticated waists then you know shrinking or increasing and can either jump for joy or not....

Weight is hard to tell... Non elasticated waistbands are great.

Well done on losing...

Saturday,
So how's our Scottie today.
Did your Carbs & Cals book arrive. Are you like me and need to work on your portion size.

Hope your having a good day.

Hello

Hope you all are okay, I'm having a bad day - BG been in the 17's for last two days.

Puzzled about my eyesight, normally wear glasses for reading etc, when my BG was really high I couldn't see at distance, for example, the time on the TV, this has got better and I am able to see the TV clearly but my short sight has got worse, I can't see the laptop very well and it's a bit blurred.

I am going to a dentist on Monday (I haven't been for over ten years due to being embarrassed about my weight) and will be calling in at a GP's surgery in order to register with them.

Also, I seem to have put on 2lbs in 24 hours, weighed myself 5 times yesterday, just to check that my weight loss was correct and it was, though today I am two pounds heavier?

Chemist delivered my medication last night and my anxiety pills have been halfed, without my knowledge and folic acid has been added (I came off this about a month ago).

Had my shopping delivered today and all of the chilled food was missing, phoned the supermarket three times and getting no where, hubby currently waiting for a call back as I'm getting stressed. Doesn't help that the missing items include lots of meat which I need for my dinners etc. and the re-delivery hasn't happened as promised. Not a biggy though, can get something from the local Tesco Express but very frustrating.

I have a admission to make, yesterday I went over my calorie intake by 70. Not best pleased with myself. Didn't go over my carbs though so that's good. Still sticking to it :).

Apologies for the ranting, I know there are worse things that people are experiencing.

No it's good to get it off your chest Scottie, better than letting it fester.
Is it the doctor that has halved your meds or a pharmacy mistake, do you know?
I would be jumping up and down if that was my shopping order that they monumentally mucked up, it's not like a couple of items being substituted is it. What would you do if you were alone and housebound............go without?
Re the weight gain, is it 'that time of the month'? Mine used to go up by as much as 7lb before that time and until the end.

Not sure Janie, haven't had this months period at all, am very late and I'm not pregnant.

I don't know who halved my meds, I didn't check them until it was too late yesterday.

The supermarket has called back and they are delivering the missing items tomorrow.

Yes my boss is a great guy he' s from new zealand been here 46 yrs now, iv'e worked for him for 27 yrs ,never a cross word!
The idea of a magic carpet ride is nice ,at least your up out of the traffic......
We do tours of the country as well, we have a group of american ladies who are into needlpoint ( one of them worked on queen elizabeth's wedding dress in 1952... She has taught needlepoint in every american state.
Any time you want the grand tour scottie.....let me know and i'll practice me abracadabra on the carpet ::)

Sounds very interesting Clive, I bet you never have a dull day xx

Glad the supermarket are going to deliver tomorrow at least that's one less thing to worry about.
The meds are a pesky nuisance and I keep getting unannounced changed to mine, but we're just the patients so no need to let us know things are being changed is there Grrr. :banghead:

Deary me Scottie just one of those things would have been enough to ruin my day at the moment, you've had a lot to deal with all in one go so it's no wonder you need to let off steam. Better to get it off your chest one way or another though! You know there will always be someone here to listen though, I know i definitely will be!! Hope tomorrow brings better things. Keep smiling!! Xx

BG fasting 17.4, before food 18.

My Fitness pal said yesterday I'm not eating enough calories, 454 down on recommended intake. It's said this for 4 days now. Haven't eaten today yet, just going to have some Ryvita with melted cheese. Still awaiting my shopping.

Now on my 9th full day of low-carbing. I need to see a GP, phoned out of hours doctors and they brough my medical records up and said just to continue taking extra meds and see my GP tomorrow. Luckily, even though the GP or chemist halved my anxiety meds, they have also included extra dosage of Glicloside which was supposed to stop after 2 weeks. My eyesight is worse today, even my daughter's face is blurred.

Having a craving for Weetabix, strange. Or chocolate. Or cake.
