Hi,
Does anyone allow themselves treats? Are you planning any treats at Christmas?
Is it ok to have a treat?
I was diagnosed as T2D in October 2021. Since then I have had virtually none of the things that with hindsight, I realise we’re my undoing!
I was especially strict last Christmas, but this Christmas, with by A1C at 43, I’m planning on having a few small treats.
My weaknesses were, Cadbury’s Dairy Milk. Chunky Kit Kats. Custard Tarts (usuall from Aldi, but in an emergency any would suffice).
Custard creams and Pringles.
Over the Christmas period I’m planning on having one Chunky Kit Kat, one custard tart and a few squares of Dairy milk!
What are your treats?
Also has anyone discovered or made any good snacks?
A very ( early) Merry Christmas.
Cheers Nick.
