The carb eating difference would be down to the fact that you are type 1 and I am type 2 and insulin resistantWell glad to here it carbs that is ! I love em guess life in your bubble is fine for you , as my life is for me and the others around me I like you am considerate of others but I don’t over react to situations. As I’ve seen the panic it can cause , as I’ve always said mine is just an opinion
And as we know opinions are like ********* everyone’s got one but no one wants to hear it ,
They don’t suffer the ill feeling but they still catch Coronavirus apparently. Thus they spread it without feeling particularly ill themselves. So it could quite conceivably be the young that are spreading it unawares
Hi I am 21 years old and am a Type 1. I’ve been a a type 1 since about 3 and never really had a bad flu or anything too bad like that. If I were to get the virus am I still at high risk of death? Do we know if there are any Diabetics that have beat it yet?
I don't think young people are at less risk of getting it, just at less risk of it being serious. This makes them a threat as they can affect others while they have very mild or no symptoms themselves.

That’s because they have mild or no symptoms and don't get tested. As your reference says they can still infect others. The numbers of younger people having a confirmed diagnosis are low.

"It has been shown asymptomatic patients in this phase can still pass the virus on to others.
And of course now no one unless hospitalised will be getting tested as the government no longer deems it necessary or maybe economic. That’s because they have mild or no symptoms and don't get tested. As your reference says they can still infect others.

A daughter of my daughter's friend who lives in London at this moment is in an isolation tent in a hospital she is fifteen and very scared and has tested positive for the virus. If you're 14 years old, that's at the bottom end of the likely risk of anything bad happening as a result of getting it.
Bit like the worst case of flu you ever had

As our esteemed PM said yesterday "people think that this is no worse than seasonal flu they are wrong it is much much worse"
No I do not believe so but will check with Melody.Sorry to hear that John. Was she already admitted with a pre-existing condition?
To the best of my knowledge, young people are just as likely to get infected as any other age grouo, just less likely to have more than mild symptoms. But the younger generation are not at a great risk, so they aren't the ones, for now, that would infect other's, it's people from certain countries that are infecting other's, look at the recent Austrian man.
A younger person has decades and decades of life in front of them, the OP is concerned and a little anxious, my daughter is and she hasn't got diabetes.
Well I’ve had sniffles a week no other symptoms no high temp so guess at this point in time I don’t have it, as it takes 7 days to show however next week I could have got it from someone who has it and so it goes on! In all seriousness , I just looked at figures in my area and there are 6 cases in an area population of about 306,000 .i do know this will raise sporting events are still going on. I am trying to keep myself healthy diet blood sugars etc EXCERCISE lol , until I am told OFFICIALLY I can’t go about my daily business then I will ,
