Six days left on my free trial. Am considering taking out another month but this appears to be a continuous monthly contract which can be cancelled at anytime.
Looking at TrustPilot reviews, I wouldn’t go near this company but I really like the product.
Have any of you had problems with customer services, have you been able to control the payments taken from your accounts?
How do you set up payment, is it direct debit or card?

When I first received the sensor, one of their staff was supposed to contact me within 3 days, as yet I have had nothing from them, so I’m a little concerned.
I’m a T2 using Metformin but totally lost control over the past year. This already has me on the right track. Thanks

I self-funded for a couple of years. The service was excellent and the recurring payment on my credit card was fine. I'm funded now.

I am self-funding for the Dexcom One Plus. I have had some issues - 3 sensors failed, but they were replaced very quickly after I filled in the form on the website to report an issue each time - next day delivery. I just had a phone call to check what had happened. The first time they sent packaging and a label to send the faulty sensor back, but did not need me to do that the next couple of times. No sensors failing for a while now - I think it must have been a bad batch.

I am on the subscription and have cancelled it once early this year becauce I wasn't using them and lost my way. Cancelling was very easy with no issues. I subscribed again this summer and since then no problems at all apart from the failed sensors, and very happy with the customer service. I am now on the 3 month subscription as it is less expensive.

I would also say that I have found the sensors absolutely crucial to getting back on track, and the Clarity website online has been really good for looking at trends and seeing my progress. I use the receiver to get the data from the sensor as my mobile phone is not compatible.

Using the sensors in conjunction with a very low carb/keto lifestyle, exercise and tracking carbs/calories/exercise through a weightloss site I have used for years, plus Rybelsus (semaglutide) prescribed for my Type 2 diabetes has been a game changer. The sensor gives me data to keep me accountable and helps me make the right food choices/times of eating for me and as a result my BG has come down a lot - weekly average on the sensor was 19.1mmol/L in early August, and is now 6.5mmol/L this week.

I was also able to use the data collected to get my GP practice to prescribe the Rybelsus after I was on it for the Ascend Plus trial and ended up on the placebo. My data clearly showed the difference the drug made to my BG.

I spent a long time pretending that the diabetes wasn't happening, and using the sensor has really helped me accept it and make positive changes. It is just a shame that it has to be self-funded, but I am sure that the lower food costs and lack of junk foods spending have made up for it.

Thanks for you replies. Think I will go ahead.
It’s definitely keeping me on track, in conjunction with low carb diet.
Hopefully I will bring my latest HbA1c, which was 70 a few months ago!!

I have been using Dexcom ONE + on subscription for nearly two months now. I’m on my sixth sensor. No problems so far. I paid via credit card, but as it’s a 90 day subscription I can’t comment on how subsequent payments and deliveries are yet.

I’ve been subscribing for 18 months with no problems. I’m advised when payment is due with plenty of time to cancel/ unsubscribe if I wished to. Delivery is always via DPD with an hour time slot.
I tried the Libre but find the Dexcom more accurate. I had three sensors fail during warmup and all were replaced swiftly by Dexcom with no quibbling.
