Eurovision Song Contest - "Guilty Pleasure" or "Just NO"!?

I love it, it's so cheesy! Nowadays I tend to watch the semi-finals (Tue and Thu before the big show), so that on the day itself i may dip in and out. I don't agree that there is a UK-hating conspiracy going on, I think we're shooting ourselves in the foot by being always in, as part of the original group, and thus avoiding the semis. Seeing the performance in advance would make our act more interesting to people from other countries. Douze points!

I agree!

I had no idea there were so many Scooch fans on this forum. Obviously they think nobody votes for us because of politics

We are watching this - despite (not because of) Graham Norton who I am increasingly finding annoying ...

I am watching it ..
It's kind of always been one of those nights , like traditional ....it's a must ...
Don't enjoy it all though .. ;)

But I am going to allow myself a zero drink and six crisps .. :joyful:
My grandparents when I was very little always allowed themselves a Guinness and a packet of crisps on euro night ...
So it's sort of always been a must ..:headphone::headphone::headphone:
It used to be a family night when tv was black and white :bag::bag::bag: so I have been told

No. Nein. Nevereverever.

I have been texting non stop to new friend, so missed some, but now watching the high lights, I quite liked the Spainish song, (who I actually thought was the French song ) Anyone remember Finland and Lordi, who won in 2000, scary looking lot, just bonkers and absolutely Eurovison :D
