Good to hear you had a meal that wasn’t huel
Knackered after yesterdays workout
Coughing so much in night again ended up being sick, strange, didn’t have a cough with covid,
Blood sugars don’t go up when i’m ill, think that proves I don’t have insulin resistance,
Caught up with a couple of friends for coffee yesterday, so nice to have an extra day off work,
One asked if I wanted to go cold water swimming with a group, they only stay in for 1 minute per degree apparently, who in their right mind would want to swim in the North Sea in February, might join them in the summer though
Dog walk with friend this morning
Have a lovely weekend

Oh my word. That cough sounds awful! Get tested just in case mate, I had a crazy bad cough with it. The whole house would shake! LOL
Yeah that whole cold thing not for me. Meant to be very good for the heart and the blood pressure though. Might start finishing my morning showers with a minute under cold only.
Not surprised you're knackered after yesterday's workout! That was intense! I see what you mean about the insulin resistance thing, I suspect you're right about that too. It does sound a lot like some type of MODY. Any word back from the consultant yet re tests and way forward?

Have a great day and a lovely weekend!

PS what breed is your doggo?

Wow 200 push-ups & 400 squats, you’re more of a nutter than me
Great FBG
No word back from consultant yet, questing I’m not high priority to them
Cassien shake is vanilla supposedly
We lost our Labrador a while back, friends dog is a little thing not even sure what, good job she’s small we’ve got a neighbour who breeds huskys for sledging & one got out this morning & chased us down the road (friend had to pick her dog up)
Daughters dog who we walk is a golden Labrador, husband wants another Labrador puppy
Going to do another covid test this morning

Awh .. Labradors are lovely, retrievers are my favourite. My daughter and I are big animal lovers, my daughter has 2 cats, we love dogs too, my mum thinks they look cute but can't bear the idea of animals in the house. We're working on her! LOL One of our neighbours has a husky called Pasha. We bump into them when we're out for walks, just an adorable doggo, so friendly and amazing with kids even though my neighbour doesn't have any kids, the dog just loves the attention she gets from kiddos. we have a border collie two doors down as well, most energetic dog ever LOL .. but again really friendly and lovely character.

Covid negative
We’ve got a cat too, son found him at a couple of weeks old in the outbuildings as he was getting his bike out, don’t know where he came from but 14 years later we’ve still got hi, he’s lost without our dog & won’t go out the garden now, used to come for walks with us

Awh man that just sooooo cute!!!
A lot of people just don't get cats, they're very emotional creatures and form strong bonds. They get really upset when they lose their chums.
All our cats have always been rescue cats. Some have had very sad stories. I cannot understand people who mistreat or abandon a feeling, living creature that was once a member of their family. They are really good fun, Rani brings back discarded takeaways from the streets as gifts LOL. Better than mice I guess. She used to eat discarded KFC and chicken burgers when she was a street cat, old habits die hard! Phoenix was left behind by a family that moved house, she won't go out, afraid there will be no one there when she comes back. Whenever I go to visit my daughter, she races her to the front door to be the first to greet me LOL .. they miss their chums!

Really glad to hear you're COVID negative :)

Mouth not quite normal .. but much, much better thanks. Enjoyed some solid food yesterday, and probably overate a bit LOL. Also tossing and turning all night worried that they might not have restocked the shelves with my favourite PB today :***::p

Had a nice workout last night, got a whole load of cooking to do today for the week ahead (local M&S garage had lot of chicken 1/2 price as it had reached it's sell by date, my newly functional mouth over ruled my brain and I bought loads .. must cook it all today!).

What brand of treadmill did you source? Are Peleton prices down at the moment due to their sales slump?

treadmill is reebok GT40s
Don’t know if peloton is on offer or not never look, my brother has an exercise bike at home & uses the swift app

That's a HUGE workout!!
Great going!
I was looking at it at yesterday and wondering how you were going to finish that with 10 x 50 swings!!

Sticking to 2 huels, 1 protein pud and one regular meal per day.
Keeps the BGs more in range and is very convenient with the work day, frees up an hour at lunch for a workout :)
