Fasting Blood Sugar this morning + yesterday's food AND physical activity

You must be shattered! That's really rough.

Been very tough over here to be honest. After an initial flurry of engagement by teams with various acronyms it has all gone quiet. The kid's problems are escalating .. need to get her in front of someone from the paediatric core team for a full psychiatric assessment to really start getting help. That's where the bottleneck is. All the other teams are just there to try and provide some kind of running repairs until a proper assessment can be made by someone who is qualified if you're unfortunate enough to have serious mental health conditions. School application has gone off. Waiting to see what happens next. She needs more than counselling or support, but there will be no meds or prescriptions until the core team sees her. It is a broken system, have to wait it out as best as we can.

Hope your husband is doing ok?
That sounds really tough, hope you get sorted soon, have you got her all the time now?
Girls are notoriously hard work, you’re doing a great job, she’s really lucky to have you

Thanks for the kind and supportive words Debbie. Much appreciated, tough times, c teenage girl, with autism and showing signs of ADHD. Going to though for a while I think.

Yes she's with me all the time now.
Although she's been going through a very withdrawn phase for some time now. I'll be on the phone again tomorrow trying to find a way to speed things up for her. Fingers crossed. Sometimes all you can do is keep them safe until you get proper help.

A friend had a Garmin watch which didn't count steps when pushing a pram, presumably because the arms were not swinging. They put the watch around their ankle and it worked just fine, Someone who saw hr thought that she had been tagged by the police though.
