@Piccyman - I agreed with my Liver Specialist when I saw him last on 3rd February (few weeks ago) that I would go back on the Low Fat Diet a second time for my Fatty Liver.
I sourced as much information as I could on Low Fat Diet and there are foods that as a Diabetic I am not supposed to eat - but, if it means that I will loose fat from within my Liver then that is the important issue here.
Since starting Low Fat Diet on 4th February (just over 2 weeks ago) I have managed to loose just 2lbs in weight. My Liver Specialist would like me to loose another 1 stone (bringing my weight down to just over 12 stone) before my next appointment to see him in July this year. He is arranging for my to undergo another Fibroscan, previously had one done a year ago and it revealed a Score of 10·5. And I have to have my Bloods done every 6 weeks to check on my Liver Function (ALT & GGT).
I am a 'fussy eater'! But I have done a list of foods that I will eat, and it's just a case of checking my Bloods more. (I am supposed to check my Blood Sugars up to 7 times a day anyway) Maybe You and I might compare notes/ideas on Low Fat Diet Foods?
