FreeLibre 14-day app not compatible with a FreeStyle libre 14-day sensor

I just bought a FreeStyle Libre app. When I try to read the sensor with the app on my Samsung Android Phone, I get a message that it is incompatible. Has anyone faced this problem?

I ordered a Freestyle 14-day sensor, and I was sent a Freestyle Libre 2 sensor. This was the problem.
I installed the Freestyle Libre 2 app on my phone. The problem was resolved. You can have both the 14-day app as well as the Freestyle libre2 app on your phone.

I think the trick is to activate the sensor with your phone instead of doing it with the reader, that way you get all the alarms on your phone too as well as minute by minute readings.

If you have a phone that can read, you do not need a reader.

The app I use with a Libre 2 is called LibreLink and it’s free. Maybe you have the wrong app?
