Sounds lovelyI can recommend purple dwarf beans, don't take up much space, very prolific and actually taste better than the green ones. They do actually turn green when cooked so they look the same on the plate. We eat large quantities of dwarf beans between us and 3 plants is more than sufficient.

Hi mo swede is very very easy to grow you don't need much room for them has well if you have a green house of a cold frame you can start them off in there in a seed tray and soon has they are big enough to handle you can then trans plant them out in rows spacing about 9" apart don't let them get too big ok has they will go wooded ok
Thanks Ray, I'm gonna give them a go ! I must be getting old cos I feed the birds and grow things now lol ! Can not eat over 30g that counts me out mo lolWish I'd started earlier ! I actually just enjoy growing veg, eating is is a bit of a letdown lol !
