Gardening and exercise with a odd photo throw in has well

I'm just getting my garden usable & am planning a veggie patch.

Need to work out what to put in it though, hubby wants potatoes & peas.

Think I'll try some squashes, carrots, spinach & chard :)

T2, Metformin 850 Mg (1 tablet twice daily), venlafaxine 75mg (1 tablet daily), buscopan 10mg (2 tablets 4 times daily)

Crinum amabile (giant spider lily) in bloom last week in my garden in my summer house in Protaras, Cyprus. We do not usually visit there this time of the year, so this is one of the first times we caught it in bloom.ImageUploadedByDCUK Forum1391568252.545006.jpgImageUploadedByDCUK Forum1391568294.498253.jpgImageUploadedByDCUK Forum1391568329.706875.jpgImageUploadedByDCUK Forum1391568349.297099.jpg

I can recommend purple dwarf beans, don't take up much space, very prolific and actually taste better than the green ones. They do actually turn green when cooked so they look the same on the plate. We eat large quantities of dwarf beans between us and 3 plants is more than sufficient.

Hi mo swede is very very easy to grow you don't need much room for them has well if you have a green house of a cold frame you can start them off in there in a seed tray and soon has they are big enough to handle you can then trans plant them out in rows spacing about 9" apart don't let them get too big ok has they will go wooded ok
