Hi PansyP
We go to Malaga every year it's a fabulous city to explore,we take the local bus 2.50 euros cheap has chips on bus same price all around Costa Del Sol.
We will be going again on our holidays this year,we base ourselves in Carihuela area of costas, and travel all over Up in mountains to Mijas Pueblo, Fuengarola, Benalmadena, Torremolinas, and Malaga. We love this area been travelling all over Europe for 35 years plus.
We came across this holiday area 9 years ago and have returned every year since, still so much we haven't seen yet, roll on my hubbys retirement! K

Hi hun it's not me that's been ill it Ron. Dr now suspects he has angina have to see a cardiologist. Hope you have been taking it easy . Big hugs xxx

Good Evening.
Attended Musculoskeletal Department at Hospital this afternoon and had my painful/swollen Ankle examined. I have Achilles Tendinitis = A ruptured tendon that has got inflammation. Have got ankle exercises to perform daily and go back in 1 months time.

My GP was right, he said it was not Gout. Even the blood test on my Uric Acid Levels were "normal".

Hi Tina_marie sorry to here Ron having a difficult time was saying hadn't seen you or Ron on recently to Liam1955 do hope things get sorted and you both turn the corner on Rons health problems soon. Great news on Bungalow viewings!! Speak again soon.K

Sunny and warmish here in London. Contractors front and back, inside and outside of the building. Noise and no privacy!

I decided an hour ago to look at the meter readings for the last three days as I suspected the mouthwash was creating problems. I have changed to salty water which does leave a yucky taste before bed. However today, fasting was 5.3 and two hour post fasting - 5.9 so I am a happy, happy girl today!

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone. Liam, glad to hear, that you haven't got gout and you ankle will get better with exercise!

Hello @PansyP and Thank You for your kind words :).
My Diabetes Nurse keeps on reminding me to use "Alcohol Free" mouthwash as it can slightly (but only a little) raise blood sugars. If in doubt? Don't use it!
Yes, it is glorious here in York today, - but all set to change at the weekend according to weatherman with not-so-good weather on it's way from the America's.

Hydrogen Peroxide and Listerine were also suggested. I walked through Holland Park this afternoon - first time for ages - and it was so very sunny and warm!

Good evening (it's 8.35 lol)

Glass of Port at 9

Bed for 10

Then another day of happy working beckons tomorrow

Hi hope I'm on right thread to post my messages, well here goes has most know I'm tying to keep my BG in check with a few hiccups along the way, it's the liver dump morning rises in BG that's been a problem, i have tried nuts ,cheese , etc then read about liver dumps on line on there it suggested ham and cream cheese rolled in slice of ham in evening, tried it last night it brought it to 5.9 this morning.
Yesterday I tried chicken and cream cheese following morning reading 5.8 so better than in 6s just.
Yesterday i had a breakfast before going out unusual for me I usually fast until lunch time. I had half avocado and two boiled eggs sprinkled with salt and pepper cup of tea.
Tested before I left house nearly two hours later 1-45 mins to be precise and BG had dropped to 4.9 so was it the advocado do you think, cannot be anything else I've had eggs on numerous occasions in last few months, never had such a BG drop before? K

Hi K you are doing exactly the correct thing in keeping to your low carb diet, sometimes when I fast my bloods are slightly raised for a while, our livers start to use stored glycogen for energy which can show up as slightly raised bg levels but your lchf breakfast supplied your body with energy without the sugar [carbs] Everyone is different of course, but I've noticed that other regular fasters on this forum experience the same thing. It's our overall levels that count anyway and the HbA1c is quite a good indicator of how well we are doing. Keep on doing what you are doing - it's working :angelic::playful:
