Good morning, peeps!
It's a grey, cool, drizzly morning here in S Glos, but that's OK because I have to work again today and it's nice to have things a little cooler. It's supposed to be brightening up later, which is also good as I have some plants that need potting up this afternoon. The sciatica seems to have taken a day's holiday today, so I am way ahead of myself - laundry's done, dishwasher's emptied, wildlife and dog fed, hoovering done and there's a joint of pork in the slow cooker. Feeling virtuous, LOL! :happy:

24/7/16 - Good Morning from a Sunny York. Enjoy the day everybody. And hope the following: @13lizanne - Anna, @eddie1968 - @maureen5752 are feeling much better today :) @debrasue - still take it easy any sudden twist/movement will bring that Sciatica back.

Been to gp yesterday have bacterial infection linked to inflammatory bowel disease, got meds. Still dizzy, nauseated but, I'll survive (singing the last bit :) ) thank you for asking. Hope that the sciatica is clearing? Gorgeous new avatar debra

Good Morning @debrasue - Very Nice the Avatar. Going to look for a change of mine today. Apart from two 'queasy' episodes yesterday, maybe just taking 3 Steriod Tablets is better suited for me, but still no effect on pain /joint ache. Have to stop the Metformin tonight for 48 hours before having the Liver Scan with Contrast on Wedneday. So if blood sugars go up that is tough, as I am not not increasing Insulin anymore. I will just have to be "sensible" (if that's possible!!) and watch what I eat. :)

Thanks, William. I'm sorry to hear you're not getting any pain relief, though - that must be miserable for you.
Good luck with your scan on Wednesday - let us know how you get on.

Morning all,

Not long up! First day of hubby's holiday so I will be cooking bacon and eggs soon, lovely.

Debrasue, what a lovely day you have planned, Lily sounds delightful. It made me feel happy to read your post.

Not sure what else is planned for today, apart from picking up medication. Will probably work on a low carb menu, hubby says he will join me in low carb eating, really happy with this.

I'm hoping you mean a shower of rain, Barbara - I'd hate to think you had to wait so long to shower yourself that it was making you uncomfortable! LOL :p

Lol Debra - in this weather I'm taking a shower every chance I get! Hot flushes and 32 degree temperatures are not a good combination :)

Rainy days on the hills in Bali :)
Lots and lots and lots of rain.
Wet smell of the earth everywhere, hmmm petrichor :)
Not sure if can have my morning walk today as it was just finished raining like cats and dogs :)

Will have my general health test at 8am from a lab at local clinic :) a bit nervous but overal I am good..
