Had a fall today

Hi hope you can get some sleep. The pain from a broken bone can be excruciating and has to be experienced to be believed. Fractured leg 8 years ago still lives in the memory. Hope you have a speedy recovery x

thanks for your kind words:)

RRB - Probably the shock of however you did this
making you feel nauseas and knocked the stuffing out of you too .

Hope you can be comfortable enough to sleep well tonight .
Please do let us know how you are tomorrow though!

Much love and healing thoughts . x

thank you Anna for your kind and thoughtful words:)

Oh RRB what rotten luck. When I read your OP, I thought that it was because of the osteoporosis but I see that you have that under control with medication.
Hope you will soon feel better and take advantage of resting. You are usually a busy lady with lots to do and will find it strange for a while.

Keep us updated please.

(((((hugs)))))

What rotten luck. I am entirely sympathetic because I once broke my wrist - more like smashed it. (fell off a table I was dancing on. That's another story) It hurt like nothing on earth at the time. I had it mended with an operation, then a pot. I must say it took a while to heal, and even now 25 years later, I have a few niggles when I do things like turning on a stiff tap, but that was more to do with the soft tissue damage than the break. Once yours has healed, if they offer you physiotherapy, please take up the offer. Meanwhile, take care, rest and get well soon.

thank you so much :)

I did write about the fall but I have lost it or deleted something, so I will try again later on,THANK YOU ALL :D.

Hi RRB - I'm so sorry to hear about your fall. I hope the pain is decreasing as time goes on. Don't feel you need to hurry back until you feel really well again. I suppose your arm is in plaster so it's difficult to do anything. All the best - we are all thinking of you.

How are you feeling now RRB? Hopefully a little more comfortable. Hope you have someone taking care of you.

Now you need a decorator! wonder if any forum users live close by to give you a hand (no pun intended - sorry!)

I just dropped into, the site and what do I find , that you dear RRB have had a very bad fall and a broken wrist ...
Now you will have to take it really easy for the next few weeks .....
I really hope you are able to get plenty of rest and that the pain levels improve soon

Just wanted to say take care and look after yourself ......thinking of you ...Kat x

hi my radius is broken, I had to have my wrist pulled because bones were squashed up. I had a local anaesthetic injected into the break:eek: :inpain: with gas and air. I go to the fracture clinic tomorrow morning for another xray and proper cast..
I decided to start stripping the wallpaper in my bedroom, overreached and toppled down on to a bedside cabinet it's so painful. but taking codipar, also last night I felt very unwell and vomited. I didnt realise a break was so unbelievably painful.ribs hurt too, take care, best wishes to you all and a big THANK YOU for your kind
