The box says 80% fewer carbohydrates than all-putpose-flour.

I made a pie-dough and so far it is coming together identically as when I it has always. I will be making/bakingthe pie later tonight.

The vendor says that it an excellent replacement even for cakes.

From the web site: "Carbquik Baking Mix is a revolutionary baking mix for everyone counting carbs. It's made from wheat so it tastes like flour, try it and you'll see that it tastes as good or better than the leading brand, with 90% fewer carbs."

It is made from wheat, not soy.

Am I in error but 100 gm = 49.6g of carbs

1 gm then would = 0.496 gm of carb

One serving = 32 gm = 15.872 gm of carb not 2 gm of carb

Nutritional Info
Size: 1.3kg/ 3lbg
Serving Size: 32g
No of Servings: 42
Carbs / serving (g): 2g
Protein / serving (g): 6g

Per 100g
Energy kcal/100g: 279Kcal
Protein: 18.6g
Total Carbohydrates: 49.6g
Fat: 18.6g
of which saturates: 3.1g
Dietary fiber: 43.4g
Sodium: 651M

If I am in error as is quite possible, I apologise but I don't think I will be using it any way.

Think its a US product so the fibre needs to be deducted from the overall carb figure to come up with the net carbs.
So per 100g carbs = 49.6g & Fibre = 43.4g
Net carbs = 49.6 - 43.4 = 6.3g
Per 32g serving net carbs = 6.3 x 100/ 32 = 1.96g

Never used it myself, but anyone trying to screw £57 out if people for A 3llb box is having a laugh

You're buying it from the wrong place I pay £13.75 for 3lbs (1360g)

I use it in a ground almond pastry recipe that I deduct some almond flour and replace it with Carbquick, it handles/bakes well and use it for lemon meringue and quiche bases (tastes fantastic)

Quick Edit: I personally don't like the taste of 100% Carbquick recipes but as a flour substitute with almond flour it's perfect for me :)

Edit:Edit: Sorry but just noticed the link quoted originally is actually cheaper than mine so win win :)

But being sold by a UK company who give the nutritional data so are they using USA or UK measures I am unsure if you are correct then I bow to your analysis I still don't fancy it though as it is wheat based I will carry on with mostly almond and coconut flour.:)
