Awe. Thanks. I believe it's just in some people's genes to not process food correctly. I have obese friends who eat very little and have tried everything Just like you. On top of that you have other issues going on. The body has to work in tandem and if one thing isn't working right it can all go haywire. So many posters have helped me. You. Youve guided my insulin reduction with confidence. @bulkbiker has inspired me into realising that I can lose weight, no matter how long no weight has been lost. His dietary ideas have been brilliant.
I've have a poster who still writes to me at home who lost loads on lchf and still feels I shouldnt need bariatric surgery because she has kept her weight off for years without surgery.
I still wish I was a one to lose on lchf but fat just had other ideas!
Don't beat yourself up. You're doing great and positive. You seem very excited for surgery and a new life to follow. For someone like you, with all your insulin resistance, amounts of insulin you take as well as your other health issues I 100% support your decision. It will help take some weight off and that in itself will help you.
I just wish your surgery was sooner for you.
