Look after the foot. Don't attempt to butst the blister. Cover with a dry dressing until healed, but get attention promptly if not ok in a day or two.Oh, I wore the wrong sandals on my walk yesterday - got a blister now on the sole of my foot.
Raining today - once I lose a bit of weight, I shall look to see what the various sports centres offer as I would like to swim too (haven't done that in years).

I've been feeling a bit blech recently - combination of perimenopause and warm weather but I do feel better when I get out for a bit. I had to face the delights of the DSS this afternoon so I got some food shopping on the way back. 40 minutes walking and carrying heavy shopping bags as well - result
Thanks @KevinPotts . Sorry, but I have missed something,. Hospital and 'all clear' suggests you have been having a tough time.Well done Pip. If I get the all clear from the hospital tomorrow I'll be out running around my village green (800meters), a few times a week to supplement my gym routine. Will have to start slow, but hopefully build it up so that I can run for 30 mins and cover 5k 3 times a week. We'll see.

I went for a wander round town this afternoon despite it being drizzly and clocked up half an hour walking. I also went over to visit my brother who has epilepsy, severe memory loss and learning difficulties. His curtain rail had fallen down so I had to help him put it back up, what else are little sisters for

In view of that, remember this thread is about activity and gentle 'exercise' each considering their ability. So don't go rushing at it. Slow and steady wins the race according to Aesop.
