hey guys, is it okay if I say to those that are uneducated?

HEY AZURE HOW ARE YA ! :D I miss ya haha. I have but the symptoms are so the same with diabetes then they'd be like "so diabetes?" me "...."

People can't make you tell everything about your health. Just say "I had a check up". If they ask for what, just say your diagnosis "Parathyroid". If they ask what that is, you could just say something like "It's pretty boring - look it up if you're interested" and then move on to,talking about something else.

You know you don't have diabetes, so if they mention that just simply say "No".

@teeekilicious18
Do you have to discuss your health at all? Why not just concentrate on your other points? Maybe you don't know then well enough to be discussing your health!

my fatigue is obvious so thats why i get asked a lot, not just in french class. sorry bout this mess guys. im really paranoid when meeting new people at this point of time. for now, I'm learning to be brave this year. Last year was scary as hell. My first impression, "are you okay, you look exhausted af."

HAHAHAHAHAHA you made my day hahahaha... explaining about health condition is embarrassing, admit it. xD
My health condition isn't embarrassing. But then I know how to communicate with people, in other languages other than English too. I cannot educate a fool. I never said I was an educator either.
I know my skills and statuses. Shame you cannot work out your own without trying to make a fool out of people. Your unhealthy alright, bad for my blood pressure. Be away with you, you fool. Go and make a mockery of diabetes, elsewhere.
This is a joke mod? @azure

Well, just say that you're tired because you have a health condition that can make you feel worn out, but you're fine (or whatever you want to say to reassure them).

Usually people don't pry into medical things - especially if you answer briefly.

what? what do you mean? i never said diabetes is a mockery. i never would like to think that having health condition is a bad thing (I myself took care of others pls :P )but when explaining to uneducated people is hard. how do you guys simply do it? really... but i can tell you, diabetes and cancer are the most famous topic people would agree. other than that, people would doubt it(when it comes to chronic). you know what i mean? they'd be like "at least its not..... "

Hi @teeekilicious18

I'm not diabetic either but I have a rare metabolic condition like yourself.
Having had to explain myself, millions of times, to millions of people, which none have heard of it!
If anyone of them ask, what is up with you?
I reply in simple language, I'm weird!
Or I'm unique!

No matter how many times, someone will always say, you're diabetic!
Sometimes you just can't win no matter what you say!

I tend to deflect attention, if they don't get it first, second, third or fourth time!

If none of that works, my final answer to these nosey gets or they just have not got a clue is.

I am carb intolerant!

People!

i am like this (see all is one word) :

relationship - single
passion - the arts
dream - tennis player
career - film producer
jobs - graphic designer
health - ** how do i explain**

(career and jobs are diff btw)

Putting this all into "one word" was dificult..

However? Googling "Ja'mazing" somewhat does your definition justice... :D

Hiya. Ya its expensive. You need to use some kind of government subsidies or sth, in my country there's a medical payment scheme. It's painless, you just had to lie down for 40 freaking minutes :s but side effects depend on the person. One of my side effects was vertigo, sth happened in the ear. (my gp explained that for example read here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/a...-Magnetic-fields-disrupt-fluid-inner-ear.html) I get irritable easily, so yeah. Vertigo meaning I get intense headache - I couldn't even walk properly for a week at least, especially when I'm under drugs, got me passed out for long hours.
