What information? The appointment consisted of the dr looking at my history and making a diagnosis. I can't go back in time and tell him how to do his job. I told him that i was managing my diet differently and changing diet is the only advice you will get from a doctor.
In some way I agree with you!
If you have RH, then a change of diet to stop the hypos is the best anyone can expect. There is no cure, there is a big chance to get your life back if you are prepared to look at our forum and experiment and record all your own individual findings how certain foods effect your blood levels.
Do you know wether you have the condition or symptomatic?
The thread is about fat and I'm lazy, a level of saturated fat is needed to offset the low carb and like me avoid vegetables fats or polyunsaturated etc. because they have a diverse effect of my digestion and speed up the hyper, whereas saturated fat slows it down, the same with full fat rather than low fat, we metabolise cats differently because of the quick glucose boost into hyper.
And if we hyper, if we don't eat we hypo!
I would avoid glucose as well!
But it does give you an idea how it reacts with your level of insulin resistance and how high the insulin response is. High blood levels and obesity is synonymous with high insulin levels and insulin resistance.
Keeping your levels in near normal levels can help so much in getting to grips with controlling RH.
If you need further help, please post in the RH forum, where when I get time I will respond.
Your sound as if you are struggling and need understanding with your symptoms especially the frustration of it all.
It took me years to get here. Please let us help.
Best wishes
